We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Fabrication Manager to join our dynamic team.
Position Overview:
As the Fabrication Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all fabrication operations, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will lead a team of skilled fabricators, implement best practices, and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the fabrication shop.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the fabrication team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Plan, schedule, and oversee fabrication projects, ensuring timely completion and resource optimization.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to ensure project specifications are met.
- Implement and maintain quality control processes to uphold product standards.
- Promote a culture of safety and ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
- Manage project budgets and track expenses to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Communicate regularly with senior management regarding project status and challenges.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in fabrication or manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with fabrication tools, machinery, and software (., CAD programs).
