Job Summary
The import/export executive will provide support to the import/export administrator and
assist with the preparation of import and export documents, sales marketing and operations
in compliance with customs and government regulations.
Duties/ responsibilities:
• Main role is for international business communication in-house sales and
marketing
• Prepares documents and forms to move goods efficiently through import and
export steps and procedures.
• Reviews paperwork and documents to ensure shipping, handling, and storage
charges and customs fees are billed correctly.
• Maintains a database that tracks merchandise.
• Processes claims on merchandise shortages and overages.
Performs other duties as assigned
• Handle areas of global business such as sales, logistics, and compliance
• Manage the logistics of getting the goods to the purchaser in another country and or ensuring the goods meet the required standards of the importing country
• Manage the sales and promotion of their company's goods abroad
Required skills/abilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of shipping regulations and policies can be acquired in excellent
organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient with Microsoft office suite or related software, goods handling on social media and other
networking site.
