Job Title: Import and Export Executive
Job Description:
As the Import and Export Executive, your main job is to handle the day-to-day tasks of our international trade operations. This includes making sure all the paperwork is done right, working closely with different people involved, and making sure we follow all the rules. You'll need to pay close attention to details, be good at organizing things, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Import and Export Responsibilities:
1. Document Processing: Handle and process all the paperwork needed for sending out goods, such as invoices, shipping documents, and packing lists.
2. Communication and Collaboration: Work closely with freight forwarders, carriers, and other people involved in sending products overseas.
3. Team Collaboration: Coordinate with the shipping, customer service, and accounting teams to keep accurate records and ensure on-time delivery.
4. Customer Support: Quickly respond to customer questions and effectively solve any issues, providing excellent service.
5. Database Management: Keep our export records organized and up-to-date in the company's database.
6. Team Support: Help out the team with various tasks related to the company's export operations as needed.
7. Documentation Accuracy: Make sure all the information in the export documents is correct, both before and after the goods are shipped.
8. Shipment Monitoring: Keep an eye on how the shipments are progressing, monitor goods during transit, and take action to ensure they arrive on time.
9. Customer Relations: Communicate well with international customers and suppliers, maintaining positive relationships.
10. Financial Coordination: Work with banks to make sure export invoices are paid on time.
11. Adherence to Policies: Follow all company rules and procedures.
12. Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on import/export regulations to make sure the company follows them correctly.
