Job Description/Responsibilities:
Manage pre and post-documentation processes for exports, including preparing invoices, packing lists, and tracking shipments.
Coordinate with overseas buyers, CHAs (Custom House Agents), freight forwarders, and shipping agents regarding shipments.
Handle export documents and submit them to banks, DGFT, etc.
Track remittances received and provide settlement instructions to banks on an invoice-wise basis.
Coordinate with the export team and banks to track document movement, ensure submission, and complete all formalities with banks and DGFT.
Deal with banks regarding export document-related issues, payment issues, and exchange control requirements.
Track pre and post-shipment credit, bank utilization, settlement, and document submission for drawl of limits.
Check bank interest calculations and applicability, and pass entries in the SAP system.
Coordinate with banks and the internal team to complete related work and follow up as necessary.
Apply for the certification of the Certificate of Origin from DGFT, Memon Chamber; prepare ACD, BL instructions, and handle other necessary certifications like fumigation and insurance certificates.
Follow up with CHA/Forwarder for ETD, ETA, Bill of Lading, check freight bills, and BL drafts.
Prepare BRC (Bank Realisation Certificate).
Prepare MIS reports related to pending issues, actions taken, etc.
Experience in Advance License (optional).
