• Must possess outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to articulate conceptual ideas with clients and other design engineers.

• Develop detailed design drawings and specifications for mechanical equipment, using computer-assisted drafting (CAD) equipment.

• Review and analyze specifications, sketches, drawings, ideas, and related data to assess factors affecting component designs and the procedures and instructions to be followed.

• Compute mathematical formulas to develop and design detailed specifications for components or machinery, using computer-assisted equipment.

• Modify and revise designs to correct operating deficiencies or to reduce cooling problems

• Knowledge of referring Technical Catalogues in preparing shop drawings; Cooling Towers Layout & Sections; Duct Riser/Shaft Layouts & Sections; Ducts & CHW hanging and support details

• Knowledge of AutoCAD, HAP / Elite, BIM (Revit - MEP) software programs. Knowledge of international standard Code (ASHRAE, UPC, IPC, SMACNA)

• Should posses’ knowledge of chiller piping, Load calculations, Duct sizing/layout, Pipe sizing / routing, developing riser diagrams, Gas routing etc
