Our client in Nairobi, Kenya is seeking an Expatriate Melter for their steel mill.

Job Summary: Operate electric induction furnaces for melting and pouring metal.

Duties:

Weigh and charge metal into furnace.

Control furnace temperature.

Pour molten metal into ladle.

Record melt operations.

Maintain safety standards.

Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent.

Previous induction melting experience preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions. Ability to write simple correspondence.
