Job Description

Job Summary:

The HR Generalist will play a key role in our Human Resources department by managing various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR best practices, excellent communication skills, and a passion for supporting employees and organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Onboarding:

Coordinate the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screenings, and interviews.

Conduct new hire orientations and ensure a smooth onboarding experience.

Develop and maintain relationships with recruitment agencies and job boards.

Employee Relations:

Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.

Provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.

Assist in resolving employee relations issues and conduct investigations when necessary.

Benefits Administration:

Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.

Assist employees with benefits-related questions and issues.

Coordinate open enrollment and communicate benefits changes to employees.

Compliance and Record Keeping:

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.

Prepare and submit required reports to regulatory agencies.

Performance Management:

Support the performance review process and assist managers with performance evaluations.

Help develop and implement employee development programs.

Monitor and report on key HR metrics, such as turnover rates and employee satisfaction.

HR Projects and Initiatives:

Participate in the development and implementation of HR strategies and initiatives.

Assist with diversity and inclusion efforts and employee engagement programs.

Support the continuous improvement of HR processes and systems.
