Our high-end restaurant in the Maldives seeks a skilled, innovative, and passionate Executive Chef to manage daily culinary operations. The ideal candidate must excel in Western and Mediterranean cuisine and inspire a diverse kitchen team to create memorable dining experiences for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Management:
• Lead, train, and manage a team of chefs and kitchen staff.
• Ensure strict adherence to food preparation, hygiene, and safety standards.
• Promote a positive and collaborative working environment.
Menu Development & Innovation:
• Design and implement creative menus focusing on Western and Mediterranean cuisine.
• Introduce new dishes and optimize existing menu items based on guest preferences and trends.
• Incorporate local ingredients and seasonal elements for unique offerings.
Quality Control & Standards:
• Deliver consistently high-quality food across all dishes.
• Monitor food storage, inventory control, and minimize waste.
• Ensure kitchen cleanliness and compliance with food safety standards, including HACCP guidelines.
Operational Excellence:
• Oversee supply ordering, stock management, and maintenance of kitchen equipment.
• Manage food costs and waste to meet financial goals.
• Collaborate with the restaurant management team to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Guest Interaction & Customization:
• Engage with guests during special occasions to meet their culinary expectations.
• Accommodate dietary restrictions and preferences to create personalized dining experiences.
Training & Development:
• Conduct ongoing training programs to improve staff skills in cooking techniques, hygiene, and operations.

Qualifications:
Education:
• Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or equivalent
