The responsibilities of the Billing Engineer will include maintain and balance the income generation and advancement of any project at the sites by observing the work from the workplace itself.
JOB DESCRIPTION:-
• Experience in road and bridges.
• Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the Engineers and/or the client
• Undertake cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work
• Ensure that the BOQ descriptions, units, pricing preamble and method of measurements are synchronized
• Perform risk, value management, and cost control
• Identify, analyze and develop responses to commercial risks
• Prepare and analyze costing for tenders
• Preparation of Monthly Progress Report, Fortnightly Progress Report, Weekly Progress Report and Daily Progress Report.
• Preparation of Extension of Time (EOT) Report
• Evaluation of variations, additional work, field changes, additions and omissions.
• Prepare quantity sheet from onsite data & drawings
• Prepare bill of quantities (BOQ) & bills with item rates from tender
• Prepare & process subcontractor bills
• To take the measurement from the site engineer
• To get work done as per the protocol of the company
• To follow up on the accounts department for payment
• Review the quantities item listed
• Checking and certification of bills and invoices from vendors and contractors
• Checking measurements
• Bill certification
• Should be good in MS Excel and MS word
• Preparing reconciliation statements
