Job Summary:

We are seeking experienced and passionate Senior School English teachers to deliver high- quality English classes to students in Grades 9-12, promoting student achievement and engagement, and fostering a love for literature and language.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Subject Excellence and Delivery:

• Plan and deliver innovative, age-appropriate, and engaging lessons that bring your subject to life.

• Align your teaching with the curriculum design provided by the CoE (Centre of Excellence) while incorporating creative teaching methods.

• Track and report students’ progress, ensuring continuous improvement in knowledge, skills, and understanding.

• Prepare students for internal and external assessments, competitions, and examinations.

Student Development:

• Provide personalized guidance to students to help them overcome challenges and excel in your subject.

• Participate in interdisciplinary projects and Beyond Academics programs, fostering holistic education.

• Identify students needing additional support and work collaboratively with Grade Teachers, special educators, and parents to ensure their progress.

• Facilitate enrichment opportunities, such as subject-related clubs, workshops, and events, to extend learning beyond the classroom.

Assessment and Feedback:

• Develop and administer varied assessments—projects, tests, quizzes—that evaluate and enhance student learning.

• Maintain accurate records of student assessments and share timely feedback with students, Grade Teachers, and parents.

• Participate in benchmarking processes, providing timely guidance to help students achieve and exceed their goals.
