Responsibilities

Work with RD manager to understand business requirement and translate that into the technical design which is reviewed and signed off by stakeholder

Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C++ code with comprehensive unit testing

Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems

Design underlying database schema and interface

Peer review developer s code and provide constructive feedback to ensure consistency and quality of code

Skills

Strong proficiency in C++, with a fair knowledge of the language specification, is a must

Good understanding of memory management and OOPS

Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as CVS, SVN

Familiarity with the standard library, boost library, STL containers, and algorithms

Familiarity with databases such as MySQL or Oracle

Familiarity with language tools, such as Valgrind, gdb
