Endoscopy Technician for Maldives
Duties and Tasks
1) Maintain inventories of endoscopic equipment and supplies.
2) Perform safety checks to verify proper equipment functioning.
3) Prepare suites or rooms according to endoscopic procedure requirements.
4) Clean, disinfect, or calibrate scopes or other endoscopic instruments according to manufacturer recommendations and facility standards.
5) Maintain or repair endoscopic equipment.
6) Position or transport patients in accordance with instructions from medical personnel.
7) Assist physicians or registered nurses in the conduct of endoscopic procedures.
8) Attend in-service training to validate or refresh basic professional skills.
9) Collect specimens from patients using standard medical procedures.
10) Conduct in-service training sessions to disseminate information regarding equipment or instruments.
11) Read current literature, talk with colleagues, or participate in professional organizations or conferences to keep abreast of developments in endoscopy.
Terms and Conditions
Employment Contract: 2 Years (renewable)
Probationary Period: 3 Months
Usd 680 to 750 +Overtime (salary may change depends on experience)
Accommodation: Shared accommodation or Accommodation Allowance of Mrf 1800 if staying outside
Food Allowance: Mrf.
Annual Leave: 30 days on completion of one full year of employment
Working Hours: 8 hours/days, 6 days/week
