Endocrinologist

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Consultant Endocrinologist to join our reputable healthcare facility in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in government or institutional settings, with a strong preference for candidates of Indian nationality, particularly from South India. Key Responsibilities:

1. Patient Care & Diagnosis:

o Provide comprehensive care for patients with endocrine disorders, including diabetes, thyroid diseases, metabolic and hormonal imbalances.

o Conduct thorough clinical evaluations, diagnostics, and treatment plans tailored to individual patients.

o Perform and interpret lab investigations and advanced diagnostic procedures in endocrinology.

2. Procedural & Clinical Excellence:

o Administer procedures related to endocrinology, such as thyroid biopsies, dynamic hormone tests, and diabetic foot management.

o Prescribe medications, hormone replacement therapies, and nutritional plans as needed.

3. Team Collaboration:

o Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including primary care physicians, dietitians, and nurses, to ensure holistic patient management.

o Provide guidance to junior medical staff, residents, and support staff in the management of complex endocrine cases.

4. Patient Education & Counseling:

o Educate patients and their families on endocrine disorders, management strategies, and preventive care.

o Conduct follow-ups to monitor treatment efficacy and adjust therapies as required.

5. Administrative Duties:

o Maintain detailed records of patient histories, treatment plans, and procedural outcomes.

o Contribute to the improvement of departmental protocols and clinical guidelines.
