Roles and Responsibilities:

Mandatory Competencies

Excellent Embedded systems Concepts in Automotive domain

Knowledge on Simulation process (Matlab)

Strong SW Analysis and debugging skills Good at understanding Logics/algorithms

Working experience with 8,16 and 32 bitcontroller like a microchip, freescale etc.

Working experience on Low level device drivers loke UART, I2C, SPI, CAN etc

Adaptive to challenging situations.

Good knowledge of ASPICE quality standard

Knowledge on SW development life cycle

Excellent programming skills in C and embedded C.

Experience in Real time Operating system (RTOS)

Hands on experience in communication protocols I2C,SPI,CAN and LIN

Experience with microcontrollers

Work experience with using tools like CANoe,Compilers and debuggers

Desirable Skills

Automotive system knowledge (ECU, Sensors, Software) and technical mindset

Ability to understand and take decision on technical proposals

Good negotiating and convincing skills

Embedded design and development experience

Awareness of Hardware, Hardware & Software Interface, Software Development Models

Experience in working with International /Inter-Cultural teams

Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills

Additional Skills

Working experience in Active Safety projects and Tools used

Experience in using Change management and version management tools (like Rational ClearQuest, SVN, DOORS, Clear Case etc)
