Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

Installation and Maintenance:

Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment.

Ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes and regulations.

Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers, to identify issues and troubleshoot problems.

Blueprint Reading:

Interpret and work from electrical blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics.

Plan the layout and installation of wiring, electrical fixtures, and equipment based on project specifications.

Troubleshooting:

Diagnose and repair electrical malfunctions, identifying the root cause of problems.

Test electrical systems to ensure they are functioning properly and safely.

Safety Compliance:

Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.

Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow best practices for electrical safety.

Customer Service:

Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members to understand project requirements and provide updates.

Offer guidance to customers on electrical systems, energy efficiency, and safety measures.

Upgrading and Retrofitting:

Upgrade existing electrical systems to meet current standards and regulations.

Retrofit older systems with new technology and components.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used, time spent, and any issues encountered.

Complete and submit required reports and paperwork in a timely manner.
