- As an Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for determining the electrical cost for the given project. You will also be responsible for reading and interpreting the blueprints effectively.
- Estimating electrical paneling its fabrication and busbars
- Determining the electrical needs of the project.
- Preparing GA diagram of panels
- Understand the Power and control wiring through SLD
- Drawing the outline and blueprints for the said electrical system.
- Placing the utility, workstation, and other fixtures as per the specifications.
- Understanding and interpreting the blueprints.
- Reviewing the plan to estimate the length of the electrical wire.
- Supply chain management of electrical things.
- Identifying the cost and time constraints.
- Knowing the supply cost for each element.
- Determining the labor requirements for completing the project.
- Working in coordination with Contractors and other team members.
- Maintaining electrical cost database.
- Performing calculations of various profitability solutions.
- Negotiating with the suppliers and vendors.
- Maintaining a healthy relationship with the vendors.
- Identifying the risk involved in the project.
- Explaining the cost of waste materials.
- Completing the project bids as per the guidelines.
- Adhering to all the electrical rules and regulations.
- Electrical load calculation of a project, existing load as well as proposed load concerning criteria of electrical and fire norms.
- Coordinating and meeting with clients or consultants for technical rounds and approval for an execution
