Responsibilities: -

Job Description 1. Ability to executing Electrical Engineering technical disciplines

with primary focus on design, development, and modification

of Electrical hardware systems.

2. Selection of OEM components and materials for Power

distribution box / control panel design.

3. High Voltage / Medium Voltage substation, switchgear, and

power distribution design.

4. Low Voltage power system distribution and motor control

center design.

5. Preparation of Single Line Diagram of power distribution

system.

6. Ability to undertake power system studies such as short

circuit, power flow, coordination, arc flash and harmonic

analysis.

7. Cable sizing calculation, cable schedule and cable tray/trench

design.

8. Lighting calculation, lighting panel board schedule and lighting

layout.

9. Grounding calculation and design of grounding grid.

10. Provide inputs for preparation of electrical layout drawings.

11. Review of electrical layout drawings.

12. Thorough understanding of electrical codes and standards

such as IEEE, NEC, CEC.

13. Ability to create and release engineering drawings & bill of

materials using Engineering Change Management process

14. Ability to coordinate with other disciplines such as

Mechanical, Civil, Architecture etc.

15. Experience of process plant design such as Oil & Gas,

Chemical, Water and Waste water.

16. Ability to independently comprehend design and work

instructions.

17. Experience of working with overseas/remote offices is an

asset

18. Demonstrated analytical (data collection, compilation and

analysis), communication (verbal and written - including

technical writing), reporting, and project management skills;

and
