3 Office Location: Pune India.

4 Job Type: Full time permanent position.

5 Working Hours:

All of our clients are in Europe and this will require all staff to be flexible in relation to starting later and finishing later to best match our clines time zones. Whilst your will agree your start and finish times with your line manager in general, we try to arrange our work from / until /. Whilst we will make efforts to accommodate all employees it needs to be understood that our clients are generally to Hrs behind local time and you will be required to align your hours to match clients local time as best as possible.

7 Job description:

The role of Senior Electrical Engineer will work within the Management Engineering Team where they will be required to provide ongoing support to Operations as well as develop and manage various work scopes..

You will assist in the project manager and design of our electrical projects you will be responsible for the timely delivery of our agreed deliverables and to ensure a very high level of quality is maintained.

8 Key Roles/Tasks/Responsibilities of the Senior Electrical Engineer

Lead projects from concept stage to completion

Liaise with our clients

As a Senior Electrical Engineer you will lead the Electrical Services design for a range of projects

Design and specification of electrical services for various types of buildings and sectors

Production of detailed Schematics

Develop the electrical design standards within the organisation

Mentoring of junior engineering staff

The Senior Electrical Engineer may be tasked with Providing fully detailed tender packages in line with our clients instructions.

Develop and agree project scope with client

Produce budgets and reports for project monitoring.

Preparation of design drawings covering all aspects of High & Low voltage equipment.

Liaise and co-ordinate with members of the clients team.

Creation of installed drawings and O&M manuals.

Attend technical / project meetings via conference calls.

Assist with the preparation of technical documentation for issue of tenders and construction.

Prepare wiring schematics for electrical services such as fire alarm, nurse call, intruder alarm, door access, emergency lighting.

Carry out lighting design calculations.

Carry out cable sizing and cable containment sizing calculations.

Ensuring all latest building and electrical design standards and regulations are adhered to.

9 Necessary Requirement:

Good written English and to be proficient at communication in English. Previous similar English work environment an advantage.

The Senior Electrical Engineer will ideally possess a 3rd level qualification in Electrical Engineering / Building Services Engineering. (Degree in Electrical Engineering).

Experience in working on UK, Irish or European projects.

The Senior Electrical Engineer will possess 8+ years experience in the construction industry of which 5+ years will have ideally been spent in a Design role.

Some experience of working on a construction sites will be advantageous however not mandatory

Experience managing and mentoring a team of Experience coordinating/interfacing with other disciplines within the organisation

Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, Autocad, Dialux, Amtech, REVIT.

Experience in working on large commercial Electrical Building Services systems

Excellent Microsoft Office Skills

Position requires thorough knowledge of electrical design and engineering techniques

Knowledge of ETCI, CIBSE, IEC, BS, IS and EN Standards an distinct advantage.

Experience in working as part of a Very good proactive communicator
