4. the engineer prepares a comprehensive bill of materials (bom) that lists all the components required for the control panel.

5. the engineer seeks opportunities for continuous improvement in panel design, manufacturing processes, and cost optimization.

6. the engineer maintains accurate documentation of control panel designs, specifications, changes, and cost data.
