Overview- healthcare professional responsible for performing electroencephalogram (EEG) tests, which measure and record the electrical activity of a patient's brain to diagnose neurological conditions like epilepsy, brain tumors, sleep disorders, and brain damage by utilizing specialized equipment and interpreting the resulting brainwave patterns; they prepare patients for the test, apply electrodes to the scalp, monitor the recording during the procedure, and analyze the data to identify abnormalities.

Key responsibilities of an EEG technician:

Patient preparation:

Review patient medical history, explain the EEG procedure to patients, and answer any questions they may have.

Electrode placement:

Accurately apply electrodes to the patient's scalp according to standardized protocols.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATION: MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS DIPLOMA

EXPERIENCE: FRESHERS/ EXPERIENCE
