Straive is providing services to a leading academic publisher committed to delivering excellent researcher experience and is expanding on supporting researchers to find the right home for their manuscripts. The role of Transfer Services Editor will help match authors to the right journal or publishing platform across the publisher’s portfolio of journals. This critical service will help researchers successfully navigate the publisher’s comprehensive portfolio and publishing offerings to find options that are suitable for their manuscript and meet their needs.

What you will be doing:

? Actively collaborating with Transfer Services Specialists, and Editorial colleagues

? Providing high quality bespoke journal recommendations to researchers using a range of tools and subject area awareness

? Developing a thorough knowledge of academic journals published by the client

? Answering author queries about journal and manuscript compatibility including criteria such as institution and funder mandates

Knowledge and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have:

? Subject area awareness, preferably to Master’s degree, in one of the following areas:

o Life and Environmental Sciences.

o Medicine and Health.

o Science and Technology.

o Humanities.

o Behavioral Health.

o Social Sciences.

o Education.
