Overview- An echo technician, also known as an echocardiographer or cardiac sonographer, uses ultrasound imaging to create images of the heart. They use these images to help cardiologists diagnose and treat heart conditions.

Responsibilities

Prepare patients: Review patient histories, check orders, and help patients get ready for the exam

Prepare equipment: Ensure the ultrasound equipment is functional and in the right place

Perform echocardiograms: Use ultrasound equipment to create images of the heart's structure and function

Analyze images: Review images and look for abnormalities

Record and store images: Save images and patient information in the medical records system

Collaborate with cardiologists: Provide cardiologists with data to help them diagnose and treat patients

EDUCATION QUALIFICATION: MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS DIPLOMA

EXPERIENCE: FRESHERS/ EXPERIENCE

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

Permanent

Full-time (240 days including holiday).

This is an annualized role so hours worked may vary from month to month.

The salary will be paid monthly.
