Role Overview:

As a District Sales Manager (DSM), you will be responsible for overseeing sales operations within a designated geographical area. Your primary objective will be to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets through effective leadership, strategic planning, and execution of sales initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Leadership: Provide guidance, direction, and support to the sales team within the district to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

Performance Management: Monitor, evaluate, and analyse sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to optimize sales effectiveness.

Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to capitalize on business opportunities.

Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive sales plans and strategies to penetrate new markets, expand customer base, and increase market share.

Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, distributors, and channel partners, to foster loyalty and drive sales growth.

Training and Development: Provide ongoing training, coaching, and development opportunities to the sales team to enhance their skills, knowledge, and performance.

Budget Management: Manage the district sales budget effectively, ensuring prudent allocation of resources to maximize ROI and achieve financial objectives.

Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and analyses for management review, providing insights and recommendations for business improvement.
