Job Description
Sales Manager will be responsible for sales of company’s products in the entire Indian and Export Markets. As the product is of ‘Industrial Consumable’ nature, the sales pattern is B-to-B. Most of the sales are directly to end customers, who are large and medium sized industries. Majority of these consumer industries are from three sectors, namely: Textile/ Yarn, Plastic Films and Paper.
Skills and Responsibilities
The candidate should develop a sound knowledge of the market, competition and customer preferences. He is expected to draw long and mid-term plans for the company’s product and formulate strategies and road map for achieving the same on monthly basis.
He should forecasts demand patterns, emerging trends and give inputs to management in framing policies for the same.
• Develop strategies and tactics in line with the company’s plans to get the desires sales results and meet targets.
• Deploy successfully these strategies and marketing campaigns and own their implementation from ideation to execution
• Develop close relations and rapport with customers and should have complete knowledge and insight about their organization and business plans
• Develop good sense of market dynamics and competitor activities and continuously monitoring the same and keep management informed.
• Build strategic relationships and partner with key industry players, agencies and vendors
• Be in charge of marketing budget and allocate/invest funds wisely
Job Profile
• Plan, organize and achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
• Develop tools to forecast market trends based on the dynamic market inputs and knowledge of competitor activities.
• Plan and visit customers in a scheduled manner
• Ensure timely delivery to customers, in line with their requirements
• Attend to customer’s technical / product queries and satisfy the same taking inputs from plant/ technical team
• Attend to and satisfy customer complaints, if any
