Job Description

Job Title: Diesel Truck Mechanic

Reports to: Shop Supervisor/Manager

Location: [SAUDI ARABIA ]

Job Summary:

We seek an experienced Diesel Truck Mechanic to diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, and other systems on heavy-duty trucks. The ideal candidate will ensure timely and quality maintenance, improving fleet reliability and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, and differentials.

2. Perform routine maintenance (PMs), inspections, and repairs.

3. Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and air brake systems.

4. Replace components, such as tires, batteries, and accessories.

5. Conduct safety inspections and maintain records.

6. Collaborate with drivers and dispatchers to resolve issues.

7. Stay updated on manufacturer recommendations and industry developments.

8. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations (OSHA, DOT).

Requirements:

1. 3+ years of experience as a diesel truck mechanic.

2. High school diploma or equivalent.

3. Technical training in diesel mechanics (., ASE, NASTF).

4. Valid certifications (., ASE T4-T8, Master Technician).

5. CDL (Commercial Driver's License) or ability to obtain.

6. Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience with [specific truck models or systems].

2. Familiarity with fleet management software.

3. Welding and fabrication skills.

4. Supervisory or leadership experience.

Working Conditions:

1. Shop environment with varying temperatures.

2. Frequent standing, walking, and lifting (up to 50 lbs).

3. Noise level: moderate to high.
