• Sets up and operates hemodialysis machine to provide dialysis treatments for patients with kidney failure.

• Test the Machines &the Monitors to see if they are functioning properly or not.

• Explains dialysis Procedure & Operation of hemodialysis machine to patient before treatment to alloy anxieties. Communicate with Patients throughout the Dialysis Process if has any problems.

• Explain patient / relatives on the procedure and take proper consent prior to dialysis procedure.

• Ensure all staff in department follows standard protocol for patient care and smooth functioning of department.

• Connects hemodialysis machine to access in patient’s forearm or catheter site to start Blood Circulating through dialyzer.

• Inspects equipments settings, including Pressures, conductivity & temperature to ensure conformance to safety standards.

• Inspects Venous & arterial Pressures as registered on equipments to ensure Pressures are within established limits.

• Calculates Fluids removal or Replacement to be achieved during dialysis Procedure.

• Monitors Patients so adverse reaction and hemodialysis machine for malfunction.

• Assembling the dialysis machine & ensuring its Proper Performance.

• Ensuring usage of the dialysis machine is safe and secure.

• Ensuring sterilization of operating equipment before use.

• To ensure and maintain record details of daily dialysis patient.

• To monitor inventory and raise indent as and when required.

• Responding to emergency scenarios.

• Developing operational Training material for staff.
