Our client is looking for a DevOps engineer to work in the Group Finance IT team to focus on a Cloud-based and on-premise application supporting critical regulatory requirement. The candidate for this role is required to have industry experience on large and complex IT projects with strong technical skills in DevOps adoption and platform ls and experience

Will be responsible for DevSecOps, Platform Engineering and Environment Management for a Cloud-based and on-premise application supporting a key regulatory requirement. Will be expected to increase reliability of production systems. Industry experience on large and complex IT projects with strong technical skills in standard DevOps tools and practices is preferred. The job requires a flexible schedule to support production activities during peak business process cycle. Required skills are listed below.

Essentials Skills:

 Knowledge in Linux systems (preferable Red Hat) – mandatory

 Proficiency in scripting language such as Python and Bash. – mandatory

 Experience working with Docker containers and any one of container orchestration solutions such as OpenShift, Kubernetes, or Azure Kubernetes Service

 Infrastructure Automation scripting (. Terraform)

 Jenkins – at least basic understanding is mandatory (or similar product like Team City)

 Git - hands on experience mandatory

 Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery – hands on experience required

 Experience of working in Agile development environment using Scrum methodologies and familiarity with Git, Jira and Confluence

 Strong communication skills

 Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
