Profile Summary

The Data Platform Engineer will join a high performing team who are distributed across our three

development centres Copenhagen, Gurugram and Amsterdam. Supported by our EPE colleagues and

commercial partners, we aim to deliver a foundational self-service capability to teams across the

Responsibilities

Candidate will be responsible for delivering a best-in-class self-service data platform

Incumbent will need to demonstrate technical ownership for features prioritized by the Service

Owner

Candidate will also work towards removing barriers to adoption through continual refinement of the

product offering

He / She will be improving processes and applying best practices

Candidate will also be tasked with Management and operation of our infrastructure to ensure it is

easy to deploy, scalable, secure and fault-tolerant

Incumbent will contribute in all scrum ceremonies; assuming the role of scum master on a

rotational basis

He / She should be flexible with rotational shift on roster basis with on-call rotation as needed

Mandatory Skills

Must have hands-on technical knowledge of various DevOps tools with

Experience of Ansible and Azure DevOps (or similar)

Exposure to Terraform and/or Packer would be advantageous

Nice to Have

Deep knowledge of Kafka internals

Experience of Kubernetes and Confluent Operator would be a distinct advantage

Experience of physical data modelling and serialization formats such as Apache Avro would be of

interest

Configuration management of code, infrastructure, dashboards and documentation using Git

Basic proficiency in at least one of Java, Python or C#

Good knowledge of Linux
