Position Overview:-
The DevOps Lead is responsible for overseeing a team of DevOps, release, and site reliability engineers. The role requires deep expertise in managing AWS infrastructure, optimizing complex cloud environments, and ensuring system reliability. The DevOps Lead will strategize infrastructure needs, implement automated deployment pipelines, and maintain security within the system architecture.
Roles and Responsibilities:-
- Oversee and manage a team of DevOps professionals, ensuring operational excellence in cloud environments.
- Develop, optimize, and automate CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins.
- Implement containerized infrastructure solutions using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with developers, QA, and security teams to ensure robust, secure, and scalable systems.
- Architect and maintain cloud infrastructure using AWS services like EC2, S3, CloudFront, Route53, and SNS.
- Create and manage dashboards for visibility into delivery, production application functionality, and performance.
- Establish and manage 24/7 on-call rotations for prompt response to production issues.
- Assist in post-mortem analyses, follow-ups, and issue reviews affecting production availability.
- Plan for future infrastructure needs while optimizing the existing setup.
Key Responsibilities Areas (KRAS):-
- Demonstrated expertise in Public Cloud (preferably AWS) and Private Cloud environments.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale infrastructure changes.
- Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration
- Establish and manage 24/7 on-call rotations for prompt response to production issues.
- Assist in post-mortem analyses, follow-ups, and issue reviews affecting production availability.
