- Project Planning and Design:

Lead the design process for engineering projects, ensuring compliance with specifications, codes, and standards.

Work closely with project managers and other team members to understand project requirements and objectives.

Develop detailed engineering designs and plans.

- Estimation and Costing:

Prepare accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for engineering projects.

Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documents to determine material and labor requirements.

Collaborate with procurement and vendors to obtain accurate cost information.

- Risk Assessment:

Identify and assess potential risks associated with the design and estimation process.

Propose mitigation strategies to manage and minimize project risks.

- Quality Assurance:

Ensure that design and estimation processes adhere to quality standards and regulations.

Conduct quality reviews and audits to verify compliance.

- Technical Leadership:

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.

Stay abreast of industry trends, advancements, and best practices in design and estimation.

- Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure that designs comply with relevant industry regulations, building codes, and safety standards.

- Documentation:

Maintain accurate and organized documentation of design and estimation activities.

Prepare technical reports, drawings, and specifications as required.

- Budget Management:

Work closely with project managers to monitor and manage budgets for design and estimation activities.
