Skill Set for DCS system Design Engineer :

1. Collect the requirements of the project and be able to prepare the Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM).

2. Ability to prepare the list of deliverables and checklist based on RTM.

3. Able to prepare Functional Design Specification based on the I/O assignment and customer requirement .

4. Prepare Bill of Material based on the IO assignment.

5. Prepare the heat load calculation based on the IO Assignment

6. Prepare the GA drawing , wiring for both System and Marshalling cabinet

7. Prepare the heat load calculation based on the IO Assignment.

8. Preparation of Logic diagram based on the cause & effect diagram.

9. Should be able to Guide the HMI person in developing the graphics.

10. Should have hands-on Experience in networking & Site commissioning.
