Qualifications and Experience Levels

Ø Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

Ø 3-6 yrs of experience into design & development

Technical Expertise

Ø Proficient in Solid works & Proven experience for modelling, sheet metal, assembly & drafting

Ø An excellent grasp of engineering and design principles

Key Responsibilities:

1 Ability to capture and specify the design requirements

2 To build up design and development new products for equipment, machines and industrial tools

3 Design new engineering products and processes are user- and environmental- friendly

4 Research & develop new ideas for product and process for automation,

5 Conduct benchmarking studies to determine best practices/designs and future trends

6 Modify & Improve existing products and processes to increase efficiency, performance & quality

7 Ensure product compliance with the industrial standards

8 Knowledge of the qualities of metals and other materials

9 Ensure product meets manufacturability, cost-effective & serviceability

10 Develop prototypes and analyze data and retest if needed

11 Knowledge of manufacturing processes

12 Investigate, develop and implement new process technologies of major scope

13 Design reviews to present design ideas and to discuss and critique alternative design solutions

14 Carry out trials, validation for new products and prototype support and feedback on design

15 Release & Control of Bill of Materials (BOM), CAD Models and Engineering Drawings
