Design hydraulic cylinders and other machined components, using first principles of Physics, mechanics, applied engineering and design data to ensure quality and manufacturability requirements.

Develop & Draft Part Drawings and Assembly drawings for various products and parts

Identify and recommend improvements to designs then take appropriate action to implement.

Collaborate with other departments such as Sales, Product Management, and Production to meet company goals for quality, customer service, safety, and cost.

Provide Production, Purchasing, Production Engineering, and Planning with information and specifications required to purchase/ produce products.

Guide Draftsman, Junior design engineers

Education Required:

BE/BTech/AMIE Mechanical Engineering degree with 3-5 Years experience in Machine Design. Applicants with a diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 7-9 years experience in design will also be considered.

Experience Required:

Design of Machines, Valves, Pumps on AutoCAD and or 3D software like Pro E, Creo

Skills and Attributes Required:

Outstanding problem-solving skills.

Proven ability to quickly understand customer requirements, formulate, evaluate and execute the most effective solution.

Basic knowledge of fabrication/surface finishing/ manufacturing processes.

Proficient with solid modeling applications, ideally SolidWorks/ Creo and drafting in CAD

Knowledge of geometric and dimensioning tolerancing.
