Plan and evaluate new projects, consult with others to determine design requirements, and prepare proposals and budgets

Use computer software to create drawings or virtual models of product designs, and design the aesthetics, materials, and functionality of components

Develop and direct the testing of designs, such as stress, load, and fatigue testing
