Design Engineer

Conceptual Design:

Develop initial design concepts for sustainable infrastructure projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial applications.

Work closely with architects, environmental engineers, and other team members to ensure that design solutions align with sustainability goals.

Technical Design:

Create detailed design drawings and specifications using CAD (AutoCAD, Revit, or other relevant software) to illustrate sustainable building systems, energy-efficient designs, and green materials.

Conduct calculations and analyses to determine the structural integrity, energy efficiency, and environmental impact of designs.

Sustainability Integration:

Incorporate renewable energy sources (solar, wind, geothermal), energy-efficient HVAC systems, and sustainable building materials into designs.

Ensure compliance with environmental standards, LEED certifications, or other green building programs.

Project Coordination:

Collaborate with other engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure that the designs meet the projects timeline, budget, and environmental goals.

Assist in the preparation of design proposals and presentations for clients and stakeholders.

Participate in project meetings to discuss design concepts, progress, and changes.

Technical Support:

Provide technical guidance and support to construction teams during the implementation of designs.

Ensure that designs are constructed per specifications, resolving any design issues that arise during construction.

Compliance & Quality Assurance:

Ensure that all designs adhere to local, national, and international building codes, sustainability regulations, and client requirements.

Review design work for quality control and ensure design documentation is accurate and complete.
