We are seeking skilled and innovative 2D/3D Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and Development:
Create and develop detailed 2D and 3D mechanical drawings and models using CAD software (., AutoCAD, Inventor, Aveva).
Translate design concepts into detailed technical drawings and 3D models for manufacturing.
Modify and revise designs to meet project requirements and engineering changes.
Collaboration:
Work closely with multidisciplinary teams including engineers, product managers, and manufacturing staff to develop and refine designs.
Participate in design reviews and provide technical feedback and suggestions for design improvements.
Liaise with suppliers and vendors for technical specifications and material selection.
Documentation and Compliance:
Prepare detailed documentation for production, including technical specifications, assembly instructions, and bills of materials (BOM).
Ensure that designs comply with relevant industry standards and safety regulations.
Maintain and organize project documentation in a clear and efficient manner.
Analysis and Testing:
Perform basic stress and tolerance analysis to ensure that the mechanical designs can withstand operational conditions.
Support testing and evaluation of prototypes, analyse test results, and implement necessary design modifications.
Troubleshoot and resolve design-related issues in a timely manner.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated with the latest advancements in mechanical design, materials, and engineering software.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and product quality.
