PHE & FF Design Engineer

We are seeking a Mid-Level PHE & FF Design Engineer to join our team in Pune. The ideal candidate should have 4 to 6 years of experience in the relevant field. The role involves leading the design team and draughtsman, coordinating various projects, and ensuring effective design documentation and execution.

Qualifications and Skills

Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) experience (Mandatory skill)

Plumbing Designer experience (Mandatory skill)

Ability to lead the design team and draughtsman to prepare drawings and design documents (Mandatory skill)

Experience in preparation of Bill of Quantities (BOQ) & Design Basis Report (DBR) for tender projects

Proficiency in structural calculations and analysis for plumbing and fire protection systems

Strong understanding of local and international plumbing and fire protection codes and standards

Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members

Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent

Roles and Responsibilities

Lead the design team and draughtsman in creating comprehensive design documents

Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and Design Basis Reports (DBR) for tender projects

Conduct structural calculations for plumbing and fire protection systems

Ensure adherence to local and international codes and standards in all design activities

Coordinate with clients and other stakeholders to understand and fulfill project requirements

Review and verify design documents for accuracy and completeness

Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and draughtsman

Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated and comprehensive design solutions
