Job description:

• Design & development of Bumper system, exterior trims.

• End-to-End design and development of bumper system (exterior systems)

• Define the concept of the product design to meet customer specifications & GD&T and ensure that the design for manufacturing aspects is fulfilled.

• Knowledge and implementation of different regulation requirement for exterior systems

• Performing the risk analysis (DFMEA), DFM and DFA

• Design/CAD sign-off, BOM creation/ management, requirement compliance.

• Manage product DVP - validation for aesthetic, material, functional & geometry.

• Manage fixture development activity with involvement of design & Quality team along with customer for part approval & validating design as per Gap & flush requirement.

• Estimation and schedule preparation.

• Exposure to APQP process from product design activity perspective.

• Collaboration with team and CFT on proactive knowledge sharing, execution, support.

• Training/mentoring team to improve the team competency.

Educational Qualification: BE mechanical

Technical skills: Catia V5, 3D CAD

Soft skills: Communications skills, Team building

Experience: 8-10 years in production

Experience in Plastic Product design and Development Plastic parts design Exterior/Interior Trim design is required
