Design /Concept development
∙ Provide high quality, innovative & functional architectural and interior designs. ∙ Follow architectural/interior design trends and advancements.
∙ Discuss with Design Manager on the design direction & strategy.
∙ Ensure completeness and quality of the output from design teams.
∙ Use the programme “brief” to identify clients’ needs and put together feasibility reports and design proposals under the guidance of the Assistant Design Manager.
∙ Prepare design concepts and supervise the activities of architectural/Interior design teams to ensure proper interpretation of project briefs and client requirements.
∙ Ensure that the Interior/architectural design teams incorporate the requirements of structural and MEP design of client’s building.
∙ Present Interior/architectural designs to Client as well as appropriate regulatory authorities for approval as required.
Bidding / Design Fee Proposal
∙ Upon receiving inquiry, generate project number.
∙ Attend intro/kick-off meetings. Understand company background, current business. ∙ Discuss ideas, objectives, understand clients’ requirements, initial briefing, initial scope of work, overall budget etc.
∙ Visit site together with Design Manager/ Project Architect as required.
∙ Obtain design schedule from Assistant Design Manager and ensure adherence. Design/Concept Creation
∙ Develop ideas keeping in mind client’s needs, building’s usage and environmental impact. ∙ Prepare concept layout based on zoning layout or percentages provided by clients under the guidance of the Design Manager.
∙ Prepare mood board/ sketches/ ideas/ presentation in discussion with Design Manager based on Clients brief.
∙ Attend client presentation with the design manager as required.
∙ Evolve first draft concept design/ adopt principle concept design in discussion with Design Manager.
∙ Review and coordinate with 3D Team the test renderings and visualizations and client presentation
