A Database Engineer is Expected To:

• as a Member of Project Development Team, Develop Database Functions; Scripts; Procedures and Triggers.

• Provide Technical Assistance to Resolve all Database Issues Related to Performance, Capacity and Access.

• Assist in Design and Development of Database Systems.

• Optimize Database Systems for Performance and Reliability.

• Provide Solutions Based On Requirements of the Project Teams.

• Ensure Data Integrity and Quality in Database Systems.

• Test Database Systems and Ensure Issues are Resolved

education:

o Be// or Equivalent Computer Science Degree Experience (years)

• 3 to 5 Years of Relevant Experience in Designing, Developing and Managing Sql and Nosql Databases Systems. Job Responsibilities

• Demonstrated Excellence with Hadoop Ecosystem and Modern Data Platform Architectures.

• Experience in Processing Large Amounts of Structured and Unstructured Data.

• the Ability to Work On and Manage Multiple Concurrent Projects for Multiple Stakeholders is Essential.

• Strong Analytical Ability and Debugging Skills are Desired.

• Work with Data Science and Engineering Teams to Evolve Data Models and Data Flows to Enable Analytics for Decision Making

• Collaborate On the Design and Development of Core Machine-learning Infrastructure to Easily and Efficiently Train, Deploy, and Measure the Causal Impact of Predictive Models for Data Transformation.

skills Technical Skills

must Have

o Deep Understanding of Nosql and Relational Databases and Database Fundamentals, Including Data Storage, Data Modeling, and Data Access Patterns

o Install, Configure, Patch, and Upgrade Database Software (mysql, Ms Sql, Oracle, Apache Cassandra, Mongodb, Hive, Hbase Etc.)

o Manage the Operations for Both Development and Production Databases

o Experience in Managing and Maintaining Database Backup and Recovery

o Database Health Monitoring, Issue Identification and Resolution Experience is a Must

o Demonstrated Excellence with Hadoop Ecosystem
