Key Responsibilities:
Database Architecture: Design, implement, and maintain database solutions, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and reliability.
ServiceNow and iTop Integration: Collaborate with ServiceNow and iTop administrators to design and implement effective database integrations.
Data Management: Develop and implement data management strategies, including data modeling, ETL processes, and data cleansing, to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Linux Environment: Manage and optimize databases in a Linux environment, including database server configuration and performance tuning.
Security and Compliance: Implement database security measures and ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations (., GDPR, HIPAA).
Performance Tuning: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and optimize database queries for maximum efficiency.
Backup and Recovery: Develop and maintain database backup and recovery strategies to minimize data loss and downtime.
Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive database documentation, including schemas, data dictionaries, and architecture diagrams.
Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and business stakeholders, to support application development and data-driven decision-making.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Database Architect or similar role, with a focus on ServiceNow and iTop.
Strong expertise in database design, administration, and optimization.
Proficiency in Linux environments and scripting languages.
Experience with data management, ETL processes, and data modeling.
Knowledge of database security and compliance standards.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
