The Sr. Decision Scientist is a key contributor in advancing the LaaS offerings of the company and developing models that improve the performance of company’s financial portfolios. This position is the innovation center of the company that explores new technology, statistical and AI/ML algorithms, new sources of data including alternative credit data, behavioral and transactional to improve the precision and lift of the credit & fraud strategies employed by the entire organization.

You will develop, maintain, and validate statistical and AI/ML models that assist in optimizing credit and operational strategies across the consumer lifecycle.

You will develop account management models that predict likelihood of line usage, propensity to pay and default metrics.

You will collaborate with the portfolio management, marketing, loss mitigation and default services teams to deploy statistical and AI/ML algorithms that improve consumer experience, precision in estimating credit worthiness and improvement in unit economics across the consumer life cycle.

You will analyze, recommend, and implement rsisk strategies pertaining to credit line management, collections, authorizations, and communications.

You have a master's degree in a highly quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or a related highly quantitative degree) required.

You have 2+ years of risk management, modeling and analytical experience.

You have strong quantitative / statistical modeling capabilities, with a history of building Scoring Models

You have strong SAS (Statistical Analytical Software) skills, with ability to conduct extensive data research.
