If so, we would love to hear from you. An exciting opportunity exists to join our burgeoning data science team. If selected, you will first undertake our substantial data science training program. You will practise your new skills by working with our team of data scientists and data engineers on in-depth data science projects as we strive to contribute to the public good.

*Use data science methodologies and technologies to analyse Big Data and finite datasets to solve business problems for international clients.

* Use data visualisation tools to describe data patterns

* Apply statistical techniques and develop mathematical models to guide business decisions

* Write code in Python, R or similar as needed

* Produce written reports in English to present data findings and make recommendations

* Communicate with international clients in English

Candidate Profile:

* Prior experience in a data science or quantitative role will be highly regarded

* Postgraduate tertiary qualifications in data science, statistics, mathematics or data analytics

* Hands-on experience writing code in Python, R or similar.

* Knowledge of SQL and relational databases

* Sound knowledge of data science principles, methodologies and tools

* High-level quantitative skills, preferably including regression analysis and mathematical modelling

* Excellent written English with ability to prepare reports of a professional standard

* Excellent analytic and problem solving capabilities

* Sound judgment when making inferences about data

* Suitable facilities to work reliably from home during the covid-19 crisis. We will only return to the office when it is safe to do so as the safety of our team is paramount.
