Data Analyst / Visualization
Key responsibilities :
- Support the creation of automated reporting, helping drive business improvement processes across IPG Mediabrand and client businesses, taking direction from the Client / Agency manager overseas
- Managing clients /IPG Mediabrands reporting and dashboards, ensuring they are well maintained and easy to use.
- Investigate and understand the opportunities of new data sources in the context of integration into Tableau/Datorama or other dashboard tool.
- Updating Tableau/Datorama/Excel/PowerPoint as required for daily/weekly client reporting.
- Experience in Excel Dashboard, PowerPoint and VBA coding will be an added advantage
- Trouble shooting any issues that arise in the updating of existing dashboards.
- Liaise with internal Mediabrands teams when investigating new data streams and trouble shooting.
- Learning how to translate business requirements into technical requirements
- Manage expectations of Business Intelligence Manager to help ensure delivery of high quality product within deadlines
- Keep up to date with new data visualisation tools and general trends in the Analytics & BI industry
Required skills & qualities:
- Suggested minimum of 2 years- experience in any of these tools: - Tableau, Datorama or similar data visualization tool.
- Excellent SQL or similar database skills (2+ years) with the ability to write complex queries and the ability to analyse, understand, clean, integrate and process complex data
- Experience in Excel and PowerPoint Dashboard will be an added advantage
- Excellent communication skills including the ability to communicate with non-technical stakeholders and present findings in a concise manner
- The ability to understand complex business requirements and translate into technical specifications
- Experience working with digital social media or Media Advertising data and understanding web analytics highly desirable
