Responsibilities
Filter and cleanse unstructured (or ambiguous) data into usable data sets that can be analysed to extract insights and improve business processes
Ensure that data flows smoothly from source to destination so that it can be processed
Using statistical tools to interpret data sets, paying particular attention to trends and patterns that could be valuable for diagnostic and predictive analytics efforts.
Use data to create models that depict trends in the customer base and the consumer population as a whole
Creating graphs/ pie charts using data representation tool for easy understanding of data
Developing and maintaining databases
Work closely with top management to prioritize information and analytic needs
Collaborate with program managers and business analysts to help them come up with actionable, high-impact insights across product lines and functions
Build tools for automating repetitive tasks so that bandwidth can be freed for analytics
Assigning numerical value to essential business functions so that business performance can be assessed and compared over periods of time
Create segments of users to target them with customer engagement software
Follow up on performance insights on particular promotional activity on the app and help in forming future promotional activity on basis of it.
Requirements
Proven problem solving and debugging skills
Well versed with descriptive and diagnostic style analysis
Familiarity with database technologies and tools (SQL/R/SAS/JMP etc.), data warehousing, transformation, and processing.
Proficiency in statistics and statistical packages like Excel, SPSS, SAS to be used for data set analysing.
Statistical knowledge in standard techniques: Logistic Regression, Classification models, Cluster Analysis, Neural Networks, Random Forests, Ensembles, etc.
Knowledge of data visualization software like Tableau, Qlik
Knowledge of app analytics like playstore console & fireba
