Job Description

We are looking to hire a data analyst to join our data team. You will take responsibility for managing our master data set, developing reports, and troubleshooting data issues. To do well in this role you need a very fine eye for detail, experience as a data analyst, and a deep understanding of the popular data analysis tools and databases.

Job Description

Develop and implement best practices for master data management - working in collaboration with subject matter experts.

Identify trends and opportunities for growth through analysis of complex data sets.

Evaluate organizational methods and provide source-to-target mappings and information-model specification documents for data sets.

Collaborate with wider procurement team members to write prioritized business requirements, and documentation, including scope definition and statement of work as well as information needs.

Design databases, develop ETL processes, and facilitate customized analyses.

Identify process improvement opportunities, develop and implement necessary solutions working in partnership with process engineers - applying Agile, Lean, and automation/Robotic Process Automation where feasible.

Be the point of contact for internal and external inquiries related to analytics, reporting, and dashboards.

Managing master data, including creation, updates, and deletion.

Processing confidential data and information according to guidelines and helping developers with reports and analysis.

Managing and designing the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata.

Supporting the data warehouse in identifying and revising reporting requirements.

Assessing tests and implementing new or upgraded software and assisting with strategic decisions on new systems.

Evaluating changes and updates to source production systems.
