5. Observe students to determine physical and artistic qualifications and limitations and plans programs to meet students' needs and aspirations.

6. Demonstrate accurate method, procedure and components of dance.

7. Evaluate each student’s growth in physical skills, knowledge and contribution in dance and provide timely and constructive feedback to students through the company’s Learning grid.

8. Uses effective and safe teaching methods based on size of class, developmental level and style of dance.

9. Confer with parents/guardians, teachers and administrators to report on students’ progress.

10. Support instructional goals and work with departmental teams.

11. Creates a positive classroom environment which supports engaged student learning.

12. Organizes events, choreographs culminating and competitive moments within the school and externally.

13. Share your passion for the art with young dancers.

14. Work alongside Curriculum Leads to ensure the provision of high quality, relevant teaching and support materials.

15. Produce teaching materials informed by current research and/or advanced scholarly practice that motivates and inspires student learning through their development of knowledge and experience.

16. Make appropriate use of technology to support learning and teaching, creating

interactive resources for the module’s content.

17. Contribute to annual course and module development, alongside curriculum review.
