Support Engineer will be responsible to monitor and maintain the surveillance
systems of the customer organization. He/she will install and configure surveillance systems, diagnose hardware/software faults and solve technical problems, either over the phone, remotely or face-to-face.
•Install and configure surveillance cameras, Video Management Software(VMS), Networking systems, Storage etc,…;
•Monitor and maintain surveillance systems and networks;
•Set up users in VMS, NVR etc;
• Set up user profiles and privileges;
• Troubleshoot system and network problems and diagnose and solve
hardware/software faults;
•Replace parts as required;
•Provide support, including procedural, documentation;
•Follow diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a
system;
•Run available surveillance applications to support systems and users;
•To raise a support ticket with partner OEM’s;
•Respond within agreed time limits to call-outs;
•Work continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties,
if appropriate);
•Prioritize and manage several open cases at one time;
• Rapidly establish a good working relationship with other professionals in
order to make necessary repairs;
• Test and evaluate new technology.
Good analysis and troubleshooting skills
Windows Administration knowledge
Linux Knowledge would be preferred
Active network knowledge
Passive Networking knowledge
6 days/week (2nd Saturday holiday)
