PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
To manage all facets of curriculum design and development to support appropriate and progressive learning in K12 segment for chain of schools. To manage or develop, analyse, review, evaluate, recommend, and implement or revise policies, programs and procedures relating to curriculum. To operate within the confines of the Ampersand vision, mandates, policies and standard operating procedures.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for identifying curriculum development requirements and providing professional knowledge, advice and leadership necessary to design and develop course material that is current, relevant and applicable.
The position will ensure that curriculum design, learning objectives and knowledge management systems (LMS) support's learning and practice needs of kids in K12 section, using a blended learning approach and instructional methodology (online and classroom learning).
To fulfil its responsibilities, the position shall need to develop and maintain relationship with internal customers like Academic Head, Training & Quality Head, Schools, etc. to provide expert advice and recommendations regarding deliverables associated with curriculum training and materials; identify issues and recommend timely resolution, Advise on important issues with significant impacts.
Responsible for providing leadership to the team by guiding and sharing expertise, communicating direction / techniques regarding the design and development of curriculum and material with direct reports. Promotes strong team management to ensure employees and contractual staff at all levels are engaged and focus towards appropriate development of curriculum.
Stakeholder Management - Establishes and develops rapport and maintains collaborative working relationships with all external customers including Government authorities.
Facilitates & represents Ampersand at various conferences, meetings, forums, and committees, as directed.
