Main Responsibilities

To develop daily teaching plans, teaching aids etc

To create activities and worksheets

To create workbooks, manuals, modules

Assists in establishing system-wide curricular objectives for early childhood education; develops plans for implementation and evaluation; initiates, designs and implements programs to meet system-wide goals.

Works with Centre Coordinators and teachers to ensure programs are implemented at each school.

To be in sync with the organisations vision and direction.

Aware of age-appropriate skills and concepts in Visual arts and capable of mapping them to the curriculum.

Development of early childhood education programs.

Develops strategies for improvement; coordinates and conducts mandatory in-service training

Makes recommendations for professional development opportunities.

Supervise, train and mentor the teachers in order to ensure the most effective use of the curriculum and learning resources.

Provide academic support to all the Pre schools in the assigned region in terms of curriculum implementation monitoring and lesson plan approvals,

Preferred Skills

Excellent communication skills, verbal and written in Standard English.

Has excellent writing skills and the ability to create content that meets educational standards.

Experience in curriculum development

Ensures teachers and coordinators are familiar with any changes to the Curriculum

Be flexible in scheduling to meet the needs of the overall program.

Demonstrate honesty, integrity and commitment to confidentiality

Show initiative in problem-solving and be open to new ideas.

Be approachable and welcoming

Ability to train and evaluate teaching staff
