Main Responsibilities
• To develop daily teaching plans, teaching aids etc
• To create activities and worksheets
• To create workbooks, manuals, modules
• Assists in establishing system-wide curricular objectives for early childhood education; develops plans for implementation and evaluation; initiates, designs and implements programs to meet system-wide goals.
• Works with Centre Coordinators and teachers to ensure programs are implemented at each school.
• To be in sync with the organisation’s vision and direction.
• Aware of age-appropriate skills and concepts in Visual arts and capable of mapping them to the curriculum.
• Development of early childhood education programs.
• Develops strategies for improvement; coordinates and conducts mandatory in-service training
• Makes recommendations for professional development opportunities.
• Supervise, train and mentor the teachers in order to ensure the most effective use of the curriculum and learning resources.
• Provide academic support to all the Pre schools in the assigned region in terms of curriculum implementation monitoring and lesson plan approvals,
Preferred Skills
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written in Standard English.
• Has excellent writing skills and the ability to create content that meets educational standards.
• Experience in curriculum development
• Ensures teachers and coordinators are familiar with any changes to the Curriculum
• Be flexible in scheduling to meet the needs of the overall program.
• Demonstrate honesty, integrity and commitment to confidentiality
• Show initiative in problem-solving and be open to new ideas.
• Be approachable and welcoming
• Ability to train and evaluate teaching staff
